Newtown Rotary Club Scholarship
May 2021 - Awarded a scholarship by the Newtown Rotary Club to attend Auburn University's World Affairs Youth Seminar. The WAYS is a summer program for high school students who attend from all over the world. At WAYS we learned about the process of The United Nations. We explored cultural and political issues as well as current events on a global level. The students set up a Mock UN process. Each student represented various countries around the world.
I was also awarded a separate scholarship by Auburn University to attend the program.
The WAYS program was initiated by Rotary Club International in 1987. Since that date it has been housed at Auburn University.
Juilliard Summer Conservatory
In early 2019, I auditioned and was accepted into a Juilliard Summer Conservatory program. That program took place July-August 2019. It was there that I was able to learn more about my passion, have fun doing what I love and learning lots from Juilliard faculty. While at the program, I studied with many wonderful Juilliard faculty including Metropolitan Opera Singer Amy Shoremont-Obra who is featured here. An article about my experience was printed in my hometown paper the Newtown Bee.

2019 - The Chamber Choir of the Fairfield County Children's Choir was invited to sing two songs from the musical "The Greatest Showman". This was for the Connecticut Children's Medical Gala which was held to raise money for the Connecticut Children's Hospital. I was given a solo at the beginning of the first song "The Greatest Show". Together we sang the songs "The Greatest Show" and "A Million Dreams".
